All rules must be followed

PHOTO STANDARDS

1. All photographs are to be taken with a digital device with email capabilities.

2. All eligible fish are to be measure on a one-piece trough style measure board, e.g., Hawg

Trough. Collapsible measuring boards are not allowed.

3. All increments on the board must be visible in a contrasting colour. Fish will not be

scored if increment lines are not clearly visible. Tip: use a Sharpie marker to colour the

increment lines on your board.

4. All photos must be clear and centered. If the judge cannot comfortably analyze the

photo due to clarity, the photo will be disallowed.

5. The event card and number (issued by the event director the morning of the event)

must be clearly visible in the photograph. The photo will be denied if absent.

6. The fish must be placed facing left, dorsal fin on the top of the board with its fully closed

mouth facing the measuring board fence.

a) penalty for open mouth.

b) Photo will be denied if board or the fish is facing the wrong way.

7. Hand or fingers may be in contact with bass’ body only and must not cover the face or

any portion of the tail.

a) -1” penalty if either are covered.

8. The tail fins may be gently pinched together and gently released before the photo.

9. If the tail is off the measuring board, the longest point of contact with the board will be

the final measurement.

10. Photo submissions after the event ends, photos received after cut￾off will not be counted.

a) In the event of a photo device malfunction or internet connection issue please

report within the 15-minute cut-off timeframe to a committee member and

airdrop your pictures.
